The monastery archive is stored in the National Archives of the Czech Republic. It is divided into two units: the older period up to 1635 belongs to the fund of abolished monasteries (St. Nicholas Monastery in the Old Town). This part is not the abbey property. The documents from 1635 on are managed by the 1st Department of the National Archives as part of the Order's archive – the Benedictine Emmaus Fund. If needed, the abbey administration issues permission to consult the archives.
